Mobility experience is sufficiently bringing changes in the business revenue, and it’s not only applicable for the customers but even for the employees. Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) is leading the change for businesses with added features and underlying technology. According to a new predication from GlobalData, the market for Enterprise Mobility Management reached $13.3 billion in 2019. The year even witnessed the mobile application management catching up with mobile device management in terms of revenue.

According to GlobalData, mobile application management shows a CAGR of 27% over the next 5 years. The forecast by GlobalData was explicitly centered on the revenue of major software vendors such as VMware, AirWatch, IBM, BlackBerry, and Microsoft. The customer insight consisted of about 3,300 respondents who revealed that 58% of these businesses are already using EMM solutions, while 54% of them are using the Telecom Enterprise Management (TEM) software. The EMM vendors can find various opportunities to provide different solutions to many of the businesses wanting to introduce mobility channels but fail to find solutions that meet both their security and infrastructural requirements.

The device-by-device management isn’t a question anymore, and businesses are focusing on the application management rather than on the BYOD policy. The ever-increasing capability of mobile devices comes in a wide range, and therefore it’s impossible for any single software that comprehends BYOD policy to help in setting the pace. Organizations want to offer flexibility to all its employees in regards to their job functions, but the challenge for them is to build a complete mobility module with increasing changes.

Enterprise Mobility Management tools offer security and management privileges to the businesses; therefore, every device is kept under policy demands along with constant monitoring. It provides remote data wiping solutions and device locking to make the devices more secure for remote usage.

Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) is a step ahead compared to the EMM solutions; it applies to all endpoint devices that include IoT and various AI solutions that can be controlled remotely.
